Poster formatting guidelines

Posters must be designed in portrait orientation, size A0. All posters will be displayed for the entire duration of the meeting. Authors are expected to be present at their posters during the designated Poster Session.

  • Poster Blitz
If you are the first author of a poster, in addition to presenting your poster during the Poster Session, you will also give a 1-slide, 1-minute oral overview of your poster in your assigned Poster Blitz session.
  • Short Talks
If you were selected for a Short Talk (10 minutes), you will also present a poster, but you will not participate in the Poster Blitz.

Oral Presentation Guidelines

Uploading Your Oral Presentations (Keynote, Session, Short Talk, Poster Blitz presentations)

  • Upload your presentation in the Lecture Rooms at least 3 hours before the start of your session (note: this refers to the session, not your individual talk).
  • If your talk is scheduled early in the morning, we strongly encourage you to upload it the day before to minimize technical issues and avoid delays.
  • Poster Blitz 1 slide presentations must be preloaded using the online link, which will be available one week before the conference.

Presentation Format & Equipment

  • Slides should preferably be in 16:9 format.
  • Bring your presentation saved on a USB key for upload.
  • Important: The uploading computers will have no internet access, so files cannot be retrieved from cloud storage services (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.).

For Mac Users

  1. If you prefer to present from your own device, you must:
  2. Bring your own connection cable/adapter.
  3. Notify the symposium chairs at least one day before your session.

We still recommend that you upload a copy of your presentation to the computer in the Lecture room in case of technical issues.
